Who needs Cash Flow?

EVERY FILM needs a good cash flow schedule.  Unless you have a rich uncle that is investing in your film, you will get Just In Time (JIT) “draws” from your investor.  This protects them from dropping too much cash at the onset and keep you honest with the proposed budget.

The Cash Flow Schedule reflects every detailed level cost within the budget.  It outlays the cash needed by each department on a weekly basis and helps provide a visual cue for on-boarding of cast and crewmembers.

This cash flow schedule will be used in conjunction with your accountants’ Daily/Weekly Hot Costs report and will be extremely important in avoiding cash crunches and/or work stoppages.
